*****NOTE for 7 June 2020: Our state has given the go-ahead to churches to open (with caveats and limitations outlined here – https://covid19.ca.gov/pdf/guidance-places-of-worship.pdf). We are still digesting these and working on how we can get back into the building and abide by the guidance. In the meantime we would like to try a preliminary experiment of holding services in the parking lot early in the morning (8:00 AM) to beat the heat. We would do the following:
1) Park with a space separating each car
2) Use an FM transmitter so that you can tune your radio to it and listen in
3) Offer a compressed service – aiming to be done in 25 minutes (due to heat considerations)
4) If you wanted to stand or sit outside your car, then that would be fine as well, as long as you provided your own chair (minimizing things that multiple people touch).
5) We would sing a few songs, pray, hear a short lesson and partake of the Lord’s Supper (using separately wrapped communion packets that we have purchased which you can look at here – https://celebrationcup.com). We will also have a way that you can give if you so choose.
Tim will also be recording a lesson and we will be posting it and watching it at 10:30 (not watching it in the parking lot, but just like how we are doing it today).

What we do

For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. – 1 Corinthians 3:11

Who we are

We are making a plea for religious unity based upon the Christ. In a divided religious world we believe that Jesus is the only One upon which all God-fearing people can unite. This is an appeal to go back to His teachings. For everything there must be a “Thus saith the Lord.” The objective is the unity of all believers in Christ. The basis is the New Testament. The method is the return to New Testament Christianity.
